Killer Roads in Sri Lanka – What Can We Do? An Open Forum 10th Aug 2025

There has been a dramatic rise in road deaths in Sri Lanka — a crisis that has been building for decades and is now reaching alarming levels. This one-hour video discussion summarises the key sectors we need to focus on, as well as the paradigm shift required to bring about change. It is intended to draw the attention of policymakers, including the Hon. Minister of Transport, so they can act upon it, using our own expertise, facts, and the evidence at hand. Please note that the national loss is estimated to be 4% of GDP. Let’s work together to achieve this goal. Please share this video with your friends as well, as national consensus will help drive the policy changes we urgently need.
