The Constituents of a Constitution: Promoting Peace and Prosperity Session 1 - 12th October 2025

LEADS has initiated a process to educate the public about our Constitution. We have invited eminent personalities who are well-informed and have either been closely involved in drafting new sections of the Constitution or have contributed to its amendments. The aim is to raise public awareness, as this is crucial to promoting a people-centred constitutional reform process—one that results in a Constitution truly created for the people.

These knowledge-sharing sessions began on Sunday, 12th October, with this video capturing the first discussion, which lasted over two hours. A similar presentation in Sinhala is scheduled to take place in 2–3 weeks.
